Memorial Weekend Family Camp
As a fun-filled tradition, every Memorial Day weekend, Pack 453 hosts an entertaining campout! There are plenty of activities for everyone, including bubbles, hiking, and more. The food is delicious, ensuring you have a hearty meal. In the afternoon, you can engage in activities like making bubbles and launching water rockets with other cubs. In the evening, you can perform a skit or showcase your talents next to the campfire. After all the amusing performances, we gather for a closing ceremony and make incredibly tasty s'mores! When you wake up in your tent, enjoy a hearty breakfast before embarking on a fun hike with your pack. After the hike, don't forget to clean up your tent.
The cubs have a blast singing along with their fellow scouts and have opportunities to open up and perform in front of a big audience, including all the cubs and parents. They gain confidence and can't wait to prepare their performances for next year's campout to showcase their talents. Parents will be amazed to see how much their kids grow after this experience.
